I am Mouath Abu Daoud, an aspiring physician-scientist with a passion for developing low-cost medical technologies for underserved communities.
I recently graduated with a degree in BioEngineering from New York University (Class of 2025). For me, innovation has always been a way to make sense of the world and express myself. Now, I document my journey and projects on mouathbuilds.com, hoping to spark the same curiosity in others that innovation once sparked in me.
Check out my updates on my current build, Motix! (last updated: September 8th, 2025)

Motix is an affordable, game-based rehabilitation console that brings engaging and accessible neuromuscular therapy to those who need it most.

Created a workflow for designing custom 3D hip implants tailored to individual patient anatomy, demonstrating the potential for scalable, patient-specific joint replacements using digital modeling and additive manufacturing.

Designed and implemented a portable, low-cost microscope stage incubator for long-term live cell imaging. Developed an integrated control system using microcontrollers and precision sensors to maintain stable temperature, humidity, and CO₂, enabling continuous imaging of live cells for up to a week in resource-limited lab settings.
